Masking with masking tape is quite easy on smooth surfaces, but more difficult on grained plaster. <\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-50 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-d9afcf6\" data-id=\"d9afcf6\" data-element_type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-3817f4c elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"3817f4c\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><b style=\"color: var( --e-global-color-text ); font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family ), Sans-serif;\">The problem<\/b><span style=\"color: var( --e-global-color-text ); font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family ), Sans-serif; font-weight: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-weight );\">The paint can run under the masking tape, as it cannot be pressed firmly onto the wall due to the granules, and some of it lifts off again over the granules.<\/span><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-4dd0e47 elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"4dd0e47\" data-element_type=\"section\" data-settings=\"{&quot;background_background&quot;:&quot;classic&quot;}\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-50 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-e0e7b04\" data-id=\"e0e7b04\" data-element_type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-2a44a73 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"2a44a73\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h3 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">The solution - the trick with the adhesive tape<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-176573e elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"176573e\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>For example, if you want to paint the lower plinth in color and the part above in white, proceed as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>First paint the upper part of the wall surface white.<\/li>\n<li>Once the white paint has dried well, stick the masking tape to the bottom edge of the paint where the separation is to take place. Press the masking tape down firmly, using a cloth if necessary. <\/li>\n<li><span class=\"bildumfliessen\">Now &#8220;paint&#8221; the lower edge of the masking tape with the same white paint using a smaller brush. This means that the paint slightly undercuts the masking tape &#8211; despite the crepe being pressed down firmly. This side of the tape is therefore &#8220;sealed&#8221;.  <\/span><\/li>\n<li>If the darker base color is then painted over it (after drying), it will not be able to undercut the masking tape as it has already been undercut by white paint.
